A New Double Degree agreement between LSM and University of Pisa

Louvain School of Management (LSM) has officially finalised the exciting new Double Degree partnership with the University of Pisa in Italy. Starting in September 2026, this collaboration will offer a Double Degree Master’s programme in Digital Intelligence and Change Management.

This partnership was made possible thanks to LSM’s role as a pilot faculty within Circle U., the European University Alliance established to build a deeply connected European campus. This alliance focuses on breaking down barriers to study abroad, encouraging collaborative research, and making high-impact international experiences accessible to our students. 

As part of this initiative, a delegation from the University of Pisa visited our campus in April 2026 to map out details of this new collaboration and in turn, in June, a Belgian delegation with our Dean, Professor Matthieu de Nanteuil, Professor Amélie Jacquemin, LSM International Vice-Dean and Maureen Gillet, LSM Head of International Office, visited our new partner's campus and exchanged best practices on promotion and communication, as well as on master's dissertations.

By enrolling in a Double Degree within the Circle U. framework, students unlock exceptional academic and professional advantages: 

• Two Master’s Degrees: graduates will earn two distinct qualifications—one from UCLouvain and one from the University of Pisa—providing a major competitive edge in the international job market. 
• Cultural Adaptability: splitting time between two historic European universities allows students to experience diverse academic cultures, expand their language skills, and build a truly international network. 
• Global Business Networks: beyond the classroom, the programme aims to connect students with local business incubators and corporate ecosystems in both countries, which allows to expand their career and entrepreneurial opportunities abroad.
