Arthur Lefebvre est professeur à l'UCLouvain. Ses recherches portent sur la gouvernance des organisations à but non lucratif et sur les relations interorganisationnelles qu'elles entretiennent avec les acteurs publics, privés et associatifs. Il étudie ces questions dans le secteur sportif, l'un des piliers du tissu associatif. Il s'intéresse particulièrement aux structures et processus de gouvernance, au leadership et au management stratégique des organisations sportives, ainsi qu'à leur rôle dans la promotion de la santé. Il est membre de l'Institute for the Analysis of Change in Contemporary and Historical Societies (IACCHOS), où il fait partie du Groupe interdisciplinaire de recherche sur la socialisation, l'éducation et la formation (GIRSEF), ainsi que du Louvain Research Institute for Organizations and Management (LouRIM). Il enseigne la gouvernance et le management du sport à la Faculté des sciences de la motricité (FSM). Il est co-directeur du Sport Management UCLouvain – Olympic Research Centre.
Arthur Lefebvre is a professor at UCLouvain, Belgium. His research focuses on nonprofit governance and on the interorganizational relationships that nonprofit organizations build with public, private, and civil society actors. He examines these issues in the sport sector, one of the cornerstones of civil society. He is particularly interested in governance structures and processes, leadership, and strategic management in sport organizations, as well as in their role in health promotion. He is a member of the Institute for the Analysis of Change in Contemporary and Historical Societies (IACCHOS), where he belongs to the Interdisciplinary Research Group on Socialization, Education and Training (GIRSEF), and of the Louvain Research Institute for Organizations and Management (LouRIM). He teaches sport governance and management at the Faculty of Movement and Rehabilitation. He is co-director of the Sport Management UCLouvain – Olympic Research Centre.
