PhD Workshop by Bella L. Galperin from University of Tampa

This interactive workshop is designed to equip doctoral students with the essential skills and frameworks for conducting high-quality systematic literature reviews (SLRs). Participants will explore the purpose and structure of SLRs, distinguish them from traditional literature reviews and meta-analyses, and learn how to apply domain-based, theory-based, and method-based approaches. Through hands-on guidance, the workshop will cover key steps including topic selection, search strategy development, data synthesis, and crafting impactful tables and figures. Emphasis will be placed on identifying research gaps, building future research agendas, and ensuring rigor and relevance. Attendees will leave with practical tools and insights to produce publishable review articles that contribute meaningfully to their academic fields.
