In September 2023, a new initiative called Erasmus4all was launched with the support of the LSM Consulting Project. The programme aims to provide grants to students who wish to study abroad but lack the necessary financial resources.
Participating in the Erasmus programme is a highly sought after experience for many students, but not all can take advantage of this opportunity due to various issues. One significant barrier identified is the financial constraints faced by many students. To qualify for an exchange programme, students must pass an English language test, which can be costly and pose a substantial hurdle for some.
Recognising this challenge, the school has taken proactive steps to assist students in overcoming financial barriers and enabling them to pursue their Erasmus experience. Since September 2023, the faculty has offered funding for scholarship students who request assistance to cover the cost of the English language test. Of the 12 students who applied for the programme, all received scholarships, and 11 will have the opportunity to participate in an exchange programme next year.
Through such support, LSM demonstrates its commitment to providing equal opportunities to all students, regardless of their financial situation. This achievement was made possible thanks to the dedication and advocacy of the Consulting Project's Ambassadors, who played a crucial role in championing this cause and ensuring the success of the Erasmus4all initiative.
