Picture taken during a field trip in Kerlingarfjöll in Iceland (July 2023) to study the alteration of volcanic soils and rocks and their links to landslides. This specific zone located in the center of the island shows intense hydrothermal and geothermal activities, which manifests by the soil colors and the smoke emanating from the sub-surface, leaving the impression it manufactures the clouds.
