A lunch talk with Hanne De Vos (B-architecten)

We will talk about the CASCOOP research project (an alternative development strategy for affordable housing on the Suikerzijde in Groningen) and about several residential project by B-architecten.

About B-architecten
B-architecten has been a renowned name in the world of architecture for over 25 years. The design office put itself on the map with well-known designs such as those for the Brussels Beursschouwburg, Muntpunt and De Grote Post in Ostend. Since then, B-architecten has grown into a firm with four divisions (B-architecten, B-bis, B-city & B-juxta) and offices in Antwerp, Brussels and Ghent, where a young and diverse team of more than 100 employees designs diverse projects, from door handle to urban district.

About Hanne De Vos
Hanne De Vos is an architect and has worked at B-architecten since 2014. She previously worked at architect Eddy François, where she gained experience in a series of architectural commissions and in organising 'classroom' lectures where young and experienced designers debated with each other. At B-architecten, Hanne specialised as an architect in complex renovation and participation projects of various scales and programmes. As head of 'B-geester', she takes care of the mission of this core group within B-architecten: to inspire colleagues. Among other things, she organises the monthly lecture series 'B-café', where internal and external speakers alternate. Furthermore, as team leader, she manages a cell of around 10 architects, while following up on her own projects as project leader.
