Content
This teaching unit offers a global approach to the management and functioning of sports organizations. It first presents the diversity of their forms – from amateur and professional clubs to federations and companies active in sport – as well as the foundations of their structure. Students are required to analyze the strategy, objectives and performance of these organizations in relation to their external environment and their interorganizational relationships. The course also covers key dimensions such as organizational life cycle, sports culture, innovation and change, as well as decision-making processes. Finally, it highlights the dynamics of conflict, power and policy that influence the governance and evolution of sports organizations.
