Prerequisites
Solid knowledge of Spanish linguistics. Consolidated B2 level in Spanish. Basic knowledge of the didactics of Spanish as a foreign language and/or the didactics of foreign languages.
Main themes
This course will focus on the analysis of a phenomenon linked to the didactics of Spanish as a foreign language. It aims to deepen the knowledge of the didactics of Spanish as a foreign language through the prism of evidence-based teaching.
Learning outcomes
At the end of this learning unit, the student is able to : | |
1 | analyse language productions through the prism of Spanish didactics. |
2 | to develop teaching material based on research findings. |
Content
The course will focus on a specific phenomenon related to the didactics of Spanish, which will be adapted according to on-going projects. Students will contribute to research on this phenomenon and design a teaching method based on the results of this research.
Teaching methods
The course will take the form of a seminar. Students will be required to prepare the reading of several articles and will take part in collaborative research (often international), including the collection and/or analysis of data concerning learning and/or teaching of a specific phenomenon in Spanish as a foreign language.
Evaluation methods
The course will be assessed on the basis of class participation (20%), the analysis carried out (50%) and the creation of a system based on these analyses (30%). Assessment will therefore be partly continuous.
