Teaching French and ancient languages in the TC (from pre-school to lower secondary) :
In the case of French, the nodes will relate to difficulties associated with literacy, for example entry into the written word, the development of reading skills through children's literature, written production, etc.
The course will also develop a reflection on language and culture which will link up the problems of learning French and Latin.

Content
The course will cover the programs and the common core curriculum for French language and ancient languages, particularly Latin. It will describe a selection of central concepts in the learning processes connected to several fields covered by the curriculum (reading, writing, speaking, etc.). It will also describe teaching methods related to the didactics of French language and the didactics of ancient languages. The students will practice recognizing the concepts and learning mobilized by these methods.
Teaching methods
Oral lectures with slideshows, and interactive activities
Evaluation methods
During the January and September sessions, assessment will be carried out by means of a 15-minute oral exam. More detailed instructions and assessment criteria will be published on Moodle before the January session.
