Content
- Reflection on the professional identity of French teachers.
- Critical analysis of teaching and learning situations in an ecological context (French class), with a clear integration of the links between teaching practices and research in the field.
The aim of the integrated assignment is to assess whether the student has mastered the skills covered by the different areas of the course. It can take different forms, for example:
- a reflective portfolio (documentation and analysis of professional and educational background),
- action research (identification of a problem, implementation and evaluation of an intervention),
- an analysis of practices (self-analysis or collective analysis).
Teaching methods
Guidance takes the form of both group activities (presenting ideas to peers, discussions aimed at regulation, formative feedback, collaborative workshops, etc.) and individual activities (reading intermediate work and providing feedback).
Evaluation methods
The assessment of the unit takes place during the June and September sessions, according to the same procedures.
The certification assessment for this teaching unit will be based on the work requested, the instructions and assessment criteria for which will be communicated to students during the first four-month term. It may take the form of a written assignment, an oral presentation, participation in training activities, etc., which will require students to draw on scientific literature to analyse professional situations or design/adjust teaching methods in their discipline.
For this assignment, the use of generative Artificial Intelligence (AI) tools is permitted solely for the purpose of revising or improving the form of the text. If the student uses AI, they are of course responsible for the content of the work submitted and for any anomalies related to the use of AI. Any use of generative Artificial Intelligence tools that contravenes what is permitted may result in the implementation of the procedure for irregularities provided for in Articles 107 et seq. of the General Regulations for Studies and Assessments and may lead to academic sanctions. In case of doubt as to the student's mastery of the work submitted, the student may be required to defend it orally.
