Prerequisites
Good command of the Dutch language and introduction to Dutch linguistics.
Main themes
This course will deal with the interlanguage of learners of Dutch as a foreign language, in particular French-speaking learners of Dutch, in all its components (morphosyntax, phonetics and lexicon). Part of the course will also be devoted to (the importance of) classroom language.
Learning outcomes
At the end of this learning unit, the student is able to : | |
1 | Demonstrate theoretical and applied knowledge of the acquisition vs. learning of Dutch. |
2 | Recognize the characteristics of the interlanguage of learners of Dutch as a foreign language, in particular French-speaking learners of Dutch. |
3 | Develop an appropriate methodology for studying an aspect of interlanguage. |
4 | Master the usual Dutch classroom language. |
