Course enrolment entails paying a tuition fee. The fee amount depends on the course you choose and/or your nationality.
These fees are given for information only and may vary according to your situation. Please consult the full fee schedule for the exact amount of your fees. The university has introduced measures to reduce tuition fees in certain cases.
These fees apply to Belgian students, students of European nationality, and students of non-European Union nationality who have Belgian student status:
In addition to these fees, there are additional charges, in particular for a sport and fitness membership. Note that scholarship students are required to pay these fees.
In accordance with ARES Circular N°2025-001 dated 18/02/2025, all students from outside the European Union, with the exception of students who meet one of the criteria listed below, are required to pay the annual registration fee (€835) and an additional contribution (€4175), for a total of €5010.
The following students are exempt from paying the additional contribution:
If you started your current course in the 2023-2024 or 2024-2025 academic year
If you started your current course beetween the 2014-2015 academic year and the 2022-2023 academic year
Students of a nationality from outside the European Union who are not assimilated to a Belgian student (with the exception of specialised masters, doctorates, international co-degrees and ‘erasmus mundus’ exchanges) will be asked to pay a €200 application fee once they have confirmed their application online.
If their application is accepted, this fee will be deducted from the tuition fees for the offer in which they are registered. In all other cases, this fee will not be refunded.
Payment in cash is not accepted. However, it is now possible to pay the tuition fee via an online payment platform. This platform is accessible via the student's virtual office. It offers two payment methods :
