Mentoring programme in the banking sector
OneStepForward is a mentoring programme developed by SINGA Luxembourg. The aim is to support refugee students (candidates) at the end of their academic studies at UCLouvain in their first steps into the world of work, particularly in the financial sector. Studies must be related to banking professions: economics, management, corporate law, human resources, IT, etc.
OneStepForward offers the opportunity to be put in touch with a professional from a banking institution, who will act as a mentor. Successful students will benefit from one-to-one mentoring sessions (online or face-to-face) and resources to help them develop their professional skills.
Two mentoring sessions per year are available, one in the spring and one in the fall. The next call for applications is scheduled for March 2025.
