Creationism asserts that life and the universe were created through divine intervention, sharply contrasting with evolutionism, which accounts for their origins through natural processes. While creationism is based in faith, evolutionism relies on scientific inquiry. Some may argue that a university focused on providing knowledge grounded in scientific principles, while remaining neutral on belief systems, should refrain from teaching creationism, as it might undermine the integrity of academic education. However, I present at least two reasons for including creationism in university discussions. First, universities can engage critically with non-scientific topics while maintaining scientific rigor. Second, analyzing the content of creationism uncovers significant parallels between scientific inquiry and belief systems, fostering a richer understanding of diverse perspectives within academia.
