Barbara MATHIEU (REMA/LDRI) has been awarded the Wiley prize for the best oral communication at the Young Belgian Magnetic Resonance Scientist (YBMRS) 2024 meeting in Blankenberge (November 25-26).
During the 20th meeting YBMRS 2024, Barbara Mathieu (FNRS PhD Research Fellow) presented a talk entitled “Noninvasive discrimination between mitochondrial ROS and cytosolic ROS in solid tumors using in vivo EPR spectroscopy”. Her work deals with the development and validation of an innovative assay able to localize the subcellular production of ROS and its impact on the response of tumors to anti-cancer treatments.
