On 7 April 2026, Prof. Marthe Nyssens was awarded an honorary doctorate by Aix-Marseille University. Congratulations to her for this recognition!

This honour recognises her outstanding contribution to research on social enterprises, which has enabled us to gain a better understanding of democracy within organisations, social enterprise models, and the role of the social economy in societal transformation.
