Tony Arts to Receive Honorary Doctorate from the Royal Military Academy

Tony Arts will be awarded an honorary doctorate by the Faculty of Polytechnics at the Royal Military Academy (RMA) in Brussels on Wednesday 6 May 2026.

This distinction recognises his exceptional academic achievements within their respective fields and, more specifically, for their valued contribution to scientific knowledge within Defence.

Tony Arts taught the turbomachinery lecture for many years to mechanical engineering students at the EPL at UCLouvain, a university with which he maintained very strong ties.
