The objective of this interactive workshop, proposed as part of Chair on Critical Embedded Systems, is to answer the two questions that are the most often asked to me when I say that embedded systems or digital systems are essential to the operation of the rail mobility system.

  1. What is the relation between rail and embedded systems? Why are they inseparable?
  2. What do you mean by critical embedded systems? How does it work?

This workshop is also the opportunity to discover how critical digital technologies applied for rail will soon migrate towards other domains of the industry.
