While some courses are taught in large auditoriums, small groups are preferred for learning activities in language courses (particularly for practical work, language laboratories and work in computer rooms). For German, Dutch and Spanish language courses, students are placed in groups according to their level in order to provide a favourable environment for written and oral expression. Our teaching staff are there to create an opportunity for full language immersion.
Methodological assistance
Beginning in the first term of year 1, students will have the opportunity to familiarise themselves with university work. The Academic Guidance Service (AGS) offers a range of activities such as peer support, tutorials and revision period support. The programmes for these activities are available on the AGS webpage (https://uclouvain.be/fr/sites/saint-louis-bruxelles/conseils-et-accompagnement.html).
