Exchange at another university
Cultural immersion activities are an integral part of the translation and interpretation programme. An exchange is equivalent to one term (25 credits). Three types of exchange are available:
- Erasmus exchanges with universities in European Union countries
- Erasmus Belgica exchanges with Dutch-language Belgian universities
- exchanges with universities outside Europe.

Language study grants
The university also awards grants to students for language courses in various destinations during the summer. The selection of candidates is based on motivation and the quality of their project. To qualify for a grant, students must have passed all of their exams in the first session.
