Center for Operations Research and Econometrics

CORE, the Center for Operations Research and Econometrics, is a research center of the Université catholique de Louvain, located in Louvain-la-Neuve (Belgium). Founded by Prof. Jacques Drèze in 1966, it now houses about 35 professors, and 50 researchers.

Together with IRES, ISBA, LFIN, and SMCS, CORE is part of the Institute of Multidisciplinary Research for Quantitative Modelling and Analysis (IMMAQ) where researchers develop and use a coherent set of tools and methods for quantitative modelling and analysis in their various fields of expertise.
