En juillet 2025, la Chambre a adopté une réforme historique de l’assurance-chômage : le droit aux allocations de chômage, autrefois à durée indéterminée, est désormais limité à un maximum de 24 mois. Dans l’esprit de ses promoteurs, la réforme, qui produire ses pleins effets au printemps 2026, vise avant tout à inciter les chômeurs à rechercher plus activement un emploi.
