U.S. Naval War College, Stockton Center for International LawMajor Aaron Johnson is a Judge Advocate (military lawyer) in the United States Army. He is currently assigned as a professor at the Stockton Center for International Law at the U.S. Naval War College. His prior experience as a Judge Advocate includes assignments as a prosecutor, administrative law advisor, legal instructor, and senior legal advisor to military intelligence, military police, and special operations units. Before law school, he had pver a decade of military experience in various assignments specializing in assessing facilities believed to be affiliated with the Iraqi military's nuclear, biological, and chemical weapons programs. His team was also one of two teams that together recovered over 1,000 pieces of stolen and abandoned radioactive material from throughout Iraq. In 2008 and 2009, he was the Executive Officer of the Afghanistan Theater Interrogation Facility. He speaks Spanish and Arabic, and many of his duties have focused on national security issues in the Middle East and Latin America.
