University of Kragujevac Faculty of LawBorko Mihajlović is an Assistant Professor at the University of Kragujevac Faculty of Law. He obtained his law degree and Ph.D. from the same university with distinction, while he gained an LL.M. in United States Business Law from Loyola University New Orleans College of Law, where he graduated summa cum laude. His research is focused on some of the most relevant issues for harmonizing Serbian law with EU law in the fields of consumer law, company law, and insolvency law. He was a visiting professor in Italy and Portugal, and he holds as well the position of permanent visiting professor at PIM University of Sarajevo in Bosnia and Herzegovina. Besides his academic activities, he conducted a one-year traineeship in the Legal Service of the European Commission. At the same time, he regularly serves as a legal expert on various projects in Bosnia and Herzegovina commissioned by the EU, dealing with the improvement of Bosnian consumer law.
