Scientific Coordination: Amandine Garde, Marine Friant-Perrot, Anne-Lise Sibony Directive 2005/29 on business-to-consumer unfair commercial practices (also known as the UCPD) was adopted in May 2005. It harmonises the laws of the Member States on business-to-consumer unfair commercial practices which harm consumers’ economic interests.
