Previously mainly involved in the field of image and video processing (compression and image retrieval through machine learning), my research interests progressively shifted towards the study of the risks and opportunities of digital technologies for visual communication, and for the media in general. My main focus relates to how automated data processing modifies the relationship between the media and their audiences.
