Giulia Scialpi
Assistante
Giulia Scialpi is an Italian architect based in Brussels. She holds a Postgraduate master from CRAterre-ENSAG laboratory, a centre of excellence that manages the UNESCO Chair “Earthen architecture, construction cultures and sustainable development” in Grenoble’s School of Architecture. Her final dissertation focused on the power of local natural materials to improve the resilience of a territory and to set up a circular economy process, and included an extensive research work in collaboration with the Landscape Planning Department of Marais du Cotentin et du Bessin Natural Park in France. In addition to her research activity, she has been working for several architectural firms and NGOs in Europe and South America. In 2019, she enrolled the UCLouvain as a PhD candidate in urban and landscape planning at the Faculty of Architecture and Urban Studies (LOCI) and as teaching assistant.
