Rudy De Winne is Professor of Finance at UCLouvain and is head of Louvain Finance, a research center gathering more than 30 researchers.
His main research interests are behavioral finance and market microstructure. Here are some ongoing research projects:Project on the gambling instinct of some retail investors – Started in September 2017, Joint work with W. De Bondt (DePaul University, Chicago) and C. D’Hondt (UCLouvain).
Project on investors’ behaviors and robo-advisors – Started in January 2017, Joint work with C. D’Hondt (UCLouvain) and E. Ghysels (University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill) and S. Raymond (University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill).
OEE project (European funding): MIFID Questionnaires, Investor Profiling and Trading Behavior - Started in 2017, Joint work with C. D’Hondt (UCLouvain), P. Roger (Strasbourg University) and others.
ARC project on negative interest rates – Started in October 2018, Joint work with faculty members of UCLouvain (O. Corneille, J. Davila, C. D’Hondt, C. Hafner, L. Iania & F. Vrins).
