Doctorant UCL
I am a researcher specializing in architectural structure design, an emerging cross-discipline between architecture and civil engineering. My expertise includes architecture design, structural analysis, parametric design, construction history, structural theory history, and architecture heritage conservation. Specifically, I possess an in-depth knowledge of Graphic Statics, a classical and geometric-based method for structure design and analysis.
My current research focuses on graphical design approaches for rigid frames. My objective is to produce a geometric-based design method that can assist architects in the design of rigid frames. Additionally, I investigate the construction history and structural theory history of rigid frames.
I am currently a PhD candidate in the Structures & Technologies LAB at UCLouvain, under the guidance of Professor Denis Zastavni. I received my master's degree in architecture from Nanjing University, where I was involved in the restoration design of a China National Cultural Heritage.
