Save the dates to attend the debates!

Debates will be held on our campuses in March (dates below). Moderated by professional journalists, the debates are an opportunity to learn about the candidates via questions posed by university bodies, including administrative and technical staff (CORTA), academic staff (CORA), scientific staff (CORSCI), and the Louvain Student General Assembly (AGL).

In accordance with the Electoral Regulations, which stipulate that electoral debates must take place over a maximum of 10 working days, four debates, each on a different campus, are planned:

  • Tuesday 12 March from 12.45pm to 2pm at Brussels Saint-Louis (Aud. 100 - Marais)
  • Thursday 14 March from 12.45pm to 2pm at Mons (Aud. 1)
  • Tuesday 19 March from 5.30pm to 7pm at Brussels Woluwe (Aud. F)
  • Thursday 21 March from 2pm to 3.30pm at Louvain-la-Neuve (Socrate 10)

A main subject will be chosen for each of the debates and supplemented by campus-specific subjects. Each debate will be broadcast live and recorded so that it may be viewed anytime.

Details of all debates and election information are posted online as they become available. Please consult it regularly.

The first round of the rectoral election will take place from 25 to 27 March, with a possible second round from 22 to 24 April.
