A lawyer and philosopher, Diane Bernard is a professor at UCLouvain Saint-Louis - Brussels. Vice-dean of the Faculty of Law and co-director of the Séminaire interdisciplinaire d'études juridiques, she is editor-in-chief of the Revue interdisciplinaire d'études juridiques and has been responsible for a number of interdisciplinary scientific projects. Her research is mainly focused on the general theory of law; she is particularly interested in epistemology and research methodology, critical approaches to law, especially feminist approaches, and psychoanalysis.
