Welcome to IRES!
IRES is a research centre in economics of the Université Catholique de Louvain (UCLouvain). The research centre was founded in 1928. With the Center for Operations Research and Econometrics (CORE), the Institut de Statistique, Biostatistique et Sciences Actuarielles (ISBA) and Louvain Finance (LFIN) and the platform Support en Méthodologie et Calcul Statistique (SMCS), IRES now belongs to the Louvain Institute of Data Analysis and Modeling in economics and statistics (LIDAM).

As in previous years, this event will offer a relaxed and collegial atmosphere for presentations and discussions. The Department of Economics at Saint-Louis is hosting the meeting and will provide lunch, coffee breaks, and an early Christmas drink. The event will be held in Room P02 at UCLouvain Saint-Louis Bruxelles, located within walking distance from Brussels North station (approximately 10 minutes). More information about access and directions can be found on this page.
Access to Room P02 is easiest going through the Saint-Louis parking, accessible via Rue du Marais 119. Once in the parking, cross it and enter through the “Préfecture” door: room P02 is the first door on your right after entering.
