Training: Microfluidics cell culture In the framework of a collaboration with the SYMBIOSE lab at UMons (Prof. Sylvain Gabriele) and the Grenoble Institute of Neuroscience (Dr. Antony Proces), Manel Berkemal received training in microfluidics in order to deploy a cutting-edge co-culture system of neurons in the lab of Françoise Gofflot.
EPISTEMODEVO network retreat November 19, 2025. The project's research teams got together in the charming setting of the priory of Malèves-Sainte-Marie in the Walloon Brabant's countryside. This scientific retreat gave the teams an opportunity for an inspiring brainstorming as well as the presentation of researcher Azat, Emma, Manel and Romane's latest results.
Training: Heart phenotyping November 2024 to January 2025. Team members involved : Emma De Jonge. Marseille Medical Genetics, Dr. Stéphane Zaffran's lab. This training focused in developing heart phenotyping and the RNAscope technique.
Training: Project management November 8 and 22nd, 2024. Team members involved : Romane Schils The training addressed the main principles of project management, including its stages (initiation, planning, execution, closure), the roles of project stakeholders, and the use of key management and monitoring tools. These concepts were applied in practice through the design and implementation of a fictitious project, developed collaboratively by participants.
