Postdoctoral research position

Two full-time 24-months postdoctoral research positions are available at the laboratory, for a project entitled "Combining TMS with EEG and fMRI to probe the representation of pain in the human brain".

The aim of the project is to develop a number of innovative approaches combining transcranial magnetic stimulation (TMS) with electroencephalography (EEG) and functional magnetic resonance imaging (fMRI) to probe the participation of specific brain regions to the perception of transient, tonic and pathological pain, and to characterize the functional connectivity and interdependency between these different brain regions.

The candidate should have completed his/her PhD. Candidates with experience in the field of pain neuroscience and/or expertise in TMS, EEG or fMRI techniques are particularly encouraged to apply. The position will require conducting experiments in both healthy participants and patients.

Applications should be sent by email to André MOURAUX, and should include a cover letter detailing research motivations, a curriculum vitae as well as the contact details of potential references.

The position will remain open until a suitable candidate is found. Start date is flexible but anticipated as early as possible.
