The Student Activities team helps make the student journey a rewarding life experience that fosters active citizenship. It supports you in your socio-cultural initiatives, provides you with information on the funding opportunities available for your activities (via the intranet) and guides you through the necessary steps with services inside and outside UCLouvain.
What the team does:
- The team supports you in developing your project
- It grants you the recognition pass for the Equipment Loan Centre of the French Community /“Communauté française”(Centre de prêt de matériel, Naninne)
- It organises training sessions that are useful for your projects
- It plays an active part in organising activities and projects: the” 24h Vélo” Prevention Team, the Kap Fair, and so on, and helps draw up the charters
It operates on several levels:
Setting student activities within an appropriate framework
- Supporting the student initiation ceremony (baptême) protocol
- Helping to develop the student activities charter
Supporting students in learning to take on collective responsibilities
- Team management training
- Project management training
- Interpersonal conflict resolution training and an introduction to non-violent communication
Support and follow-up for student representation within the institution
