Research
The Neurosurgery research group is focused on advancing the understanding, diagnosis, and treatment of neurological conditions that require surgical intervention. Our group collaborates on projects related to brain and spine surgery, neuroimaging, neuromodulation, and the development of new surgical techniques or technologies improving surgical outcomes for brain tumors, developing minimally invasive procedures, exploring the effects of neuromodulation in various neurological disorders etc.
Our activities are mainly clinical but various collaborations with labs more active in fundamental research (see below) have been developed to insure a multidisciplinary approach on more complex topics.
The common goal is to translate scientific discoveries into clinical applications that can improve patient care and outcomes.
