Sylvain Courtain was born on February 9, 1994 in Anderlecht, Belgium. He holds a Master degree in Business Engineering from Université Catholique de Louvain (UCL) since 2017. He has been working at the Center in Management Information Systems (CEMIS) since then as a research and teaching assistant investigating the topic of Machine Learning on graph. His research interests include semi-supervised classification, fraud detection, fuzzy clustering technics.
Teaching assistant for the following courses :

My field of research is Machine Learning, more specifically, Clustering and Classification.
At this time, I am working on a fuzzy clustering algorithm based on derived form of the modularity and on Fraud Detection System.
