Dear IoNS members,

We are happy to invite you to the Newcomers Welcome Session that will take place on October 15, 2025 (from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.) in the auditorium Maisin.

This welcome session is specially organised for newly admitted PhD students or postdoctoral fellows; however, all IoNS members are welcome! 

The purpose of the session is to welcome newcomers and to facilitate their integration by providing them an overview of the Institute and the doctoral school and by giving them all practical information they need for a smooth start. 

This is also a great networking opportunity!

10h-10h30 : Presentation of the Institute (by Pascal Kienlen-Campard)

10h30-11h : Presentation of the technology platforms (BEAP by Olivier Schakman, NIMA by Laurence Dricot, NTMD by Cédric Lenoir, CICN by Valérie Dormal)

11h-11h30 : Presentation of the administrative team and practical information for newcomers (by Sonia Miranda Relvas)

11h30-12h00 : Presentation of the doctoral journey (by Valéry Legrain)

12h00-12h15 : Presentation IPA & Euron (by Yasmine Salman & co.)

12h15-13h00 : lunch (sandwiches)
