Ina Aust (formerly: Ehnert) is Professor of Human Resource Management with a specialization in Corporate Social Responsibility and sustainability, Louvain School of Management, Belgium. Prof. Aust has published her PhD in 2009 on the topic 'Sustainable Human Resource Management: A conceptual and exploratory analysis from a paradox perspective'. Together with Wes Harry she has edited a Special Issue on Sustainable HRM in management revue, September 2012. In 2013/14 she has published the edited volume 'Sustainability and Human Resource Management: Developing Sustainable Business Organisations', Springer which is one of the publisher's 25% best downloaded e-books. In 2017 the paper Guerci, M., Decramer, A., Van Waeyenberg, T. & Aust, I. (2017). Moving Beyond the Link Between HRM and Economic Performance: A Study on the Individual Reactions of HR Managers and Professionals to Sustainable HRM. 10th International Conference of the Dutch HRM Network, 9-10 November 2017 received the Dutch HRM's Best Paper award. Prof. Aust is interested in research on sustainable HRM/sustainability and HRM, global leadership for sustainability, paradoxes and tensions in HRM, international HRM and cross-cultural management.
