The Candriam Chair of Circular and Regenerative Economy aims to develop several projects on the circular and regenerative economy through education and research, as well as the participation in both academic and non-academic events.
The chair offers various courses aimed at providing students with the capacity to reflect and act in relation to the circular and regenerative economy. These courses have the participation and contribution of external speakers to enhance the learning experience and bring reality closer to the students.
Alongside teaching activities, the chair conducts research on the circular economy under the supervision of Prof. Yves De Rongé. Particularly, the chair has funded the post-doctoral research of Dr. Petchprakai Sirilertsuwan, and the doctoral research of Mr. Josep Oriol Izquierdo Montfort. The latter consisting on a three-article thesis to study various facets of circular business models, in particular how they are classified, how can they be implemented by firms, and their financial impact.
