This episode takes us to research fields less familiar to management, but just as essential! Arthur Sluÿters, PhD student in gesture and motion recognition, presents his doctoral research. His project studies 3D gesture recognition using radar in order to develop the human-machine interfaces of the future.

EP4: Sabrina Courtois – Researcher in corporate social responsibility

In this episode, we meet Sabrina Courtois, PhD student in corporate social responsibility. Specifically, Sabrina is looking at how decision-makers are expanding their knowledge of the subject to provide more sustainable practices in their organisations. To do this, she focuses mainly on communities of practice, i.e. communities formed by members with a common interest who decide to get together, learn from each other and share good practices in order to develop their own.

In this seventh episode, Louise Dumont, a doctoral student in marketing and consumer behavior, shares with us her research interests for social marketing and consumer behavior with a focus on food waste. More specifically, her research aims to better understand what are the impacts of a price reduction on products close to their due-date on households’ wasting behaviors.
