Last week, Amélie Jacquemin, researcher in entrepreneurship, together with Sélénia Anastasia, Amine Chihi, and Tryphène Ndombasi, PhD students, had the opportunity to participate in the academic part of a princely mission in Norway. She was in charge of presenting the Sustainable Change-Makers Programme, created within Circle U., of which she is one of the representatives for UCLouvain. This programme was presented to HRH Princess Astrid and the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Belgium, Hadja Labib. The three PhD students participated in this course and could then share their experience.
The stay continued with a conference on the role that universities, as well as European university alliances, can play in strengthening innovation and entrepreneurship. Amélie is working hard to achieve this through the creation of InCU.bator within Circle U. It was also an opportunity to meet Belgian companies that showed interest in joining this new ecosystem as external corporate partners, as well as their colleagues from other Belgian universities and higher education institutions who are important stakeholders in creating bridges between different European alliances.
This incredible experience gave them a wealth of new ideas to continue the Circle U. adventure.
