Sébastien Françoisse, a bioengineer from the AGRO faculty received, on May 23, 2017, in the presence of Mr. Paul Magnette the award "prix de l'enseignement supérieur" from the Walloon Foundation for his master thesis project.

On May 23, 2017, Sébastien Françoisse, a bioengineer from the AGRO faculty of UCL who graduated in september 2015, received,  the award "prix de l'enseignement supérieur" from the Walloon Foundation for his master thesis project entitled "Estimation of the number of pre-industrial charcoal kiln sites in the Walloon Region by remote sensing (LiDAR and aerial photographs)". The work was supervised by Pr. Pierre Defourny and Dr. Brieuc Hardy
