Designing and Conducting Systematic Literature Reviews
Systematic Literature Review is a methodology to systematically identify, critical appraise and synthesize relevant research in order to respond to a clearly formulated topic. The participants will learn about the methodology. Introducing the methodology and it steps will be complemented by interactive elements to allow the participants to develop a first draft of their own research design for a systematic review in their field. Therefore, each participant should come with a specific research question related to their PhD project.
Dear participants,
Please prepare for the course:
- Read Bacq, S., Drover, W., Kim, P.H. 2021 Writing bold, broad, and rigorous review articles in entrepreneurship. Journal of Business Venturing, 36 (6), p. 106147.
- Prepare a research question for a systematic review related to your research.
Search for 1-2 systematic reviews in your field (preferable from your target journal): how are they structured, how is the review conducted, how are the results presented?
