Success for the 10th edition of the Business & Society Research Seminar

LOURIM Louvain-La-Neuve, Mons

On June 17 and 18 last, UCLouvain and UNamur hosted an online version of the Business & Society Research Seminar. This 10th edition, organized in collaboration with IESEG, Audencia business school,  VU Amsterdam and ICHEC, also benefitted from the financial support of Lille Economie Management, FNRS and SAMS.

The rich program included two keynote speeches. On Thursday morning, Thomas Roulet for the University of Cambridge opened the discussions with a talk on Negative Social Evaluations and their Positive Consequences: A Paradox to Approach New Phenomena at the intersection of Business and Society.

Then, on Friday morning, Jean-Pascal Gond (from the University of London) started the second day with a keynote speech about Performing the Corporate Social Responsibility Research Movement.

This edition attracted a lot of submissions.  The final program counted 57 presentations from enthusiastic researchers sometimes at the very start of their doctoral research.

Between the presentation sessions, participants had the opportunity to take part to three amazing workshops. Meet the editors, Doing Impactful Research and Have a seat in the PhD Library Reading Rooms.

A huge thank you to all those who made it possible, organizationally wise, but also to all the session chairs, the experts, the people who organized the workshops and our guest of honours, and also to all the participants who attended the event and shared their remarks and questions through the two days.

See you next year!
