Individual or small group assistance

Bruxelles Saint-Gilles, Bruxelles Woluwe, Charleroi, Louvain-La-Neuve, Mons, Tournai

In addition to participating in collective learning assistance activities, every student can request individual help from:

  • the teaching team—the professor and assistant—whether at the end of a course or during a tutorial session organised as part of it;
  • educational teams in charge of helping students within the faculty;
  • the faculty study adviser, whose mission is to help the bachelor’s programme student analyse and devise a course plan; inform and advise on student choices; and, when necessary, refer the student to other persons, services or resources;
  • faculty-trained tutors—usually more advanced and experienced students—who advise first-year bachelor’s students or answer their questions;
  • a Student Support Service psychologist or social worker.
