Résumé

In the last two decades, academia has witnessed a burgeoning interest in the domains of research integrity and funding allocation. Research on the former topic indicates that questionable research practices (QRPs) are prevalent, and research on the latter topic suggests that there are significant epistemic drawbacks to using peer-reviewed project funding to distribute funding in academia. However, very little is known about QRPs in the context of research funding. In this talk, I will discuss the findings of a recent survey on the prevalence of QRPs in the context of research funding, and consider the implications of this for the choice of a method to distribute research funding.
