The faculty includes the School of Pharmacy and the School of Biomedical Sciences, which offer a very wide range of basic and specialization programs. Our team works in close collaboration with the Cliniques universitaires Saint Luc and the five research institutes of the UCL health sector. The faculty offers a dynamic pedagogy, placing the student at the heart of the educational system, integrating new knowledge and is attentive to the demands of the professional world. Located for over 40 years on the site of the Université catholique de Louvain (UCL) in Brussels, the Faculty of Pharmacy and Biomedical (FASB) welcomes each year more than 1000 students interested in high-level scientific courses of in the field of health sciences. The faculty maintains privileged links with all the actors of health and biomedical research. Clinicians, researchers, pharmacists participate in various courses and offer a wide range of internship locations for students in Belgium and abroad.
The faculty has a reputation in Europe and abroad, as evidenced by a large proportion of foreign students. Graduates from the Faculty of Pharmacy and Biomedical Sciences at the Université catholique de Louvain also receive recognition that goes beyond our national borders.
