Friday 8th September, we held the second LAB day of the Louvain Research Institute for Landscape, Architecture, Built Environment, of the Université catholique de Louvain. It was a day full of fascinating ideas about how to build more multi/inter/trans-disciplinary research across different research areas revolving around the landscape, architecture and built environment.
Many thanks to the many speakers of the day, notably Matthew Gandy from the Department of Geography University of Cambridge, as well as the presidents of various research institutes within the Université catholique de Louvain, namely Jeanmart Hervé (IMMC), Marnik Vanclooster (ELI), Martin Edwards (IPSY), Xavier Wauthy (IRIS-L), Valérie Swaen (LOURIM), Marc Zune (IACCHOS), as well as the head of the Sciences and Technologies sector Michel Verleysen.
Kudos go to the president of LAB, Sergio Altomonte for another brilliant day of path-setting interactions, and to Sandrine Matthieu and the whole team for the organisation.
