What programmes can I access?

VAE

In principle, all our programmes (whether or not they lead to a degree) can be accessed via VAE. In general, it is our master’s level programmes that receive the most applications for entry by this route.

The UCL offers master’s programmes with staggered or flexible hours, adapted to an adult audience and compatible with working life.

Nonetheless there are some exceptions set out in the decree of 7 November 2013. The higher secondary education certificate (AESS) is only accessible to applicants with a 60 or 120 credit master’s degree (art.113, §2). Admission via VAE is therefore not possible in this case.

Access to bachelor’s degrees in medicine and engineering is also limited (Art. 109 and Art.  50 of the decree of 7 November 2013).
